Part of the Roots and Flowers series, this work explores the transformation between human and nature — where both merge into a single living being. The figure, covered in black pigment and crowned with dried flowers, embodies rebirth and resilience. The red mask symbolizes inner vitality — the pulse of life that persists beneath the surface. Through photography and hand-applied organic materials, the piece becomes a meditation on identity, impermanence,… and the silent strength that connects body and earth.
« I strive to transform the ordinary into perfection and to achieve it, only for brief instants, moments of pure utopia. »
