About this artwork

This work was exhibited in the exhibition "Authentic self", Europe Gallery, Brasov, Romania (July 17 -30, 2025) and is part of the solo exhibition, "In Enigmata", "Brancoveneşti Palaces" Cultural Center, Bucharest (21st of August - 8th of September, 2025).
Also, Catharsis 2 (Ava) was awarded with Jury Prize 3rd place (bronze award), for the "My best work 2024" competition, Camelback Gallery (USA), curator Kassandra Kaye.
The series “Catharsis” (composed… of twelve works) is dedicated to the women who have lost the loved ones, as a result of the extremely bloody conflicts that are ongoing worldwide and, at the same time, is a tribute to those who are no longer among us.
The series is an inner search, in which the value of forms is not offered only by color, but by their interpretation. The brushstrokes follows the work geometry and has the role of reveling the feeling, emotion but also the energy of the human being.
