This acrylic painting on stretched canvas depicts a plant-like structure that resembles flowers or funghi - but with a distinctly otherworldly quality. Each 'flowerhead' has a textured green and yellow centre surrounded by a soft pink-violet halo in the middle of which is a large black stamen.
