"Eros, the mischievous god of love, resolved to reveal to Apollo the full spectrum of his arrows' influence. With calculated intent, he drew his bow and let loose a gilded arrow, aimed squarely at the heart of the god of the arts, Apollo, who was ensnared in an unyielding passion for a fleeting nymph named Daphne.
