Mystic Circles "an installation by Anando Arnold, developed for an exhibition of luminous objects called" Lichterfest Schloßpark Wiesenburg ", near Berlin, on September 28, 2013
The basic idea of the object is the dance - wise women dance a mystical, mysterious circle dance high in the branches of an ancient oak in the Schlosspark Wiesenburg.
For this kinetic light installation, the artist uses 20 women's clothes, which are arranged in five circles.…
The groups slowly turn against each other, while the clothes slowly pulsate and then darken again.
The result is the fascinating impression of a mystical ballet high in the branches of an old oak tree.
The installation has a total size of about 5 x 10 x 3 m. When hung in a tree or a large room, it switches on automatically when it gets dark.
The installation was planned to be exhibited at Luminale Frankfurt 2018.
