About this artwork

With this painting, inspired by one of Andrew's many diving experiences, Andrew has tried to capture the sheer beauty and simplicity of air bubbles ascending through the water, toward the surface and into the sunlight above. Each bubble appears to dance towards the surface, constantly changing shape, separating or joining others on its journey. This image represents three fundamental elements: sunlight, water, and oxygen.
