I created this work after many years in which I saw the movie Betty Blue where two characters are mixed, she with a strong character being more masculine and he with a weak character being more feminine, the work is more pink than blue, because what can be your weakness can become your strength.
At the heart of this series, to continue being part of the heart of Fluxus, it has the same photograph of posters displayed on the street showing women… and men expressing feminine strength.
Angela Cuello is a multidisciplinary artist, a student of Elma Pignalosa and Angel Loochkartt, trained in contemporary painting, industrial design, and sculpture, with an international career. Her techniques range from oil and acrylic to wire drawing, incorporating unexpected materials such as newspaper and photographic interventions. Her style masterfully and boldly fuses the conceptual and the urban. Inspired by beauty, the role of women, and love for the planet, her works convey a primal and emotive force, inviting reflection and respect for the feminine and the environment. She has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide, including Spectrum in Miami, the Qatar International Art Festival, and the "Living Artist" international auction, as well as international biennials. She has also been featured in several publications and received numerous awards.
