In this work, I captured the essence of fleeting time, blending realism and symbolism in a vintage style. The isolated armchair, worn by years, evokes absence and memory, while the cracked background suggests a forgotten story. I wanted to convey a gentle melancholy, a presence in the void, that will bring an introspective and emotionally charged atmosphere to your space.
Antoine Marelle, a photographer and digital artist who graduated from the Rouen School of Fine Arts, explores various mediums and practices, nurturing his passion for photography. He manipulates architectural and botanical details, plays with texture and atmosphere, and transforms his photographs through advanced post-production work to create images with a poetic aesthetic. His works evoke a strong dramatic emotion and invite the imagination, while questioning presence, absence, and the beauty of passing time.
