I depict a young woman balancing on the heights of Paris, perched between sky and city. Around her, the ochre chimneys warm the atmosphere, contrasting with the vast blue that envelops her. She seems both present and elsewhere, absorbed by her thoughts, withdrawn from the tumult. Here I explore the intimacy of a suspended moment, at the crossroads of vertigo and contemplation.
