A Radiant Ode to Lunar Serenity (@Moonlight) – This painting was born from quiet nights spent watching the way moonlight transforms the world — how it softens everything it touches and turns the ordinary into something almost sacred. I worked with gentle washes of acrylic ink to create that fluid, dreamlike light, and used metallic silver oil paint to catch the soft shimmer of moonbeams on the earth. The matte varnish gave it a velvety calm, balancing…
the glow with stillness. For me, this piece is a meditation on peace — a reminder of the quiet beauty that exists when we slow down and simply look up.

Birutė Celik is a Lithuanian-born abstract and visual artist whose path to painting began after two decades in global business, including roles as Chief Commercial Officer of a tourism operator and Vice President of an aviation company. Traveling the world and meeting thousands of people gave her experiences that now live on her canvases.
Self-taught yet shaped by global travels and encounters with art, she creates textured abstract works with acrylics, gold leaf, and mixed media. Her style balances structure and spontaneity, with rough tactile layers contrasted by fluid movements and luminous metallics.
