Camilla Dowse is a talented British painter whose works have featured in prizes, publications and exhibitions throughout the UK, including The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition and The Society of Women Artists. Using acrylic or oil on gesso, she favours the use of minimal colours in order to create tranquil, meditative urban environments. Dowse ultimately strips city scenes down to their bare architecture, removing human presence and everyday distractions to emphasize the beauty of the buildings themselves.
