Looking at my art I hope you feel the multilayered aspects of life. What starts as being dark colored can end in bright and energetic vibes . We are not the situations that came upon our paths, we are what we have done with these challenges and how we learned to deal with them.
This is what I hope you, as a viewer, feel. Despite what happened or what came across your paths, you… can always change the way you look upon situations, people, decisions, happenings... and turn it into a positive and lifetime changing event. What is wrong is always available, so is what's right. May you feel the vibe of belonging.
Oil is an adorable medium to give my artworks a multilayered aspect and more depth.

My artwork is known for its abstract qualities, incorporating emotional movement, graffiti-style marks, and words to establish a ‘social ground’ within my paintings.
Through this process, I aim to question, challenge, and provoke established narratives and cultural hierarchies, particularly those surrounding equality and abuse; while inviting new perspectives and interpretations.
I have studied for almost 20 years at both the Academy of Art in Brugge & Mechelen, Belgium. I am classically trained and I master a wide range of painting and drawing techniques, from realistic work to expressive and experimental styles.
