In my digital artwork, the jagged textures of the background and the vibrant strokes of color from the passing tram merge to create a visual representation of chaos and order, of change and movement. The powerful gray and black tones symbolize the often unstoppable nature of change inherent in any development, while the warm orange and gold nuances of the passing tram are symbolic of our fast-paced times. This composition is a reflection on the inevitable… dynamics of our lives and motivates the viewer to remain resilient in the face of uncertainty. It brings an energy of transformation and deep contemplation to any home.
Digital photography, multiple exposure, print on brushed aluminum dibond, with shadow gap frame. Photographed in Frankfurt am Main.
Caroline C. Kreutzer concentrates on artistic photography. Using long exposure and multiple exposures, she plays fascinatingly with movement and time. Digital image processing creates works that explore and question urban spaces and cityscapes. Her art radiates either calm or strength, a reflection of her years of engagement with the city.
