About this artwork
My series "Human Nature" brings the plant world into the heart of my characters' faces. It tells the story of the union of living forms, a coexistence freed from relations of domination and exploitation. It is a quest for the future: a humanity inhabited by nature, animality, vitality, autonomy, and freedom. Kiku recharges, becomes vegetal, reconnects with nature. She doesn't evolve within an environment; she is an integral part of life itself.
