About this artwork
This work depicts a female back surrounded by two infant feet — a powerful symbol of birth, impact, and transformation. The piece emerged through my signature layered process: an initial charcoal sketch of the female figure and baby footprints, followed by handwritten text in Byzantine calligraphy, then gestural brushstrokes inspired by the rhythm of a dancer’s movement.
