About this artwork
The transition from an exact geometric shape to a more complex, unpredictable shape is fundamental to this series. The initially geometric body is retained even after the spatial transformation and gives the whole thing a special effect.
This sculpture is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Can be placed free-standing or hanging, floating by the water or used as… a wall sculpture.
The natural oxide layer of the recycled aluminum makes the object corrosion-resistant and weatherproof. An internal core protects against further deformation. The sculpture is spaced approx. 3 cm from the ground with stable eye plates and can therefore be additionally attached or anchored to the surface of the water like a buoy.
Weighs approx. 4 kg and is titled, dated and signed on the underside.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
