About this artwork
The transition from an exact geometric shape to a more complex, unpredictable shape is fundamental to the "Dialog With a ..." series. The initially geometric body is retained even after the spatial transformation and gives the whole thing a special effect.
The natural oxide layer of the aluminum is corrosion-resistant and an internal core protects the… sculpture from further deformation. Due to the low center of gravity, this free-standing sculpture is very stable. It weighs approx. 14 kg and is signed with the initials cR.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
