About this artwork
The works in this series blend together seamlessly into a single, powerful current.
The future mysteriously revealed on canvas with synthetic wax, 24-karat gold leaf and deep blue ink.
The liquid synthetic wax, heated to over 200°C, descends from above, plunging into a deep blue ocean of cold ink and solidifying. The ink dries over a long period, settling into an abysmal, dark depth. "Oraculum L112, a realm, forebodingly hidden… in serenity."
All works in this series share the same construction: The back is coated with corrosion-resistant metal. A special hanging system gives the 10 kg panel a floating appearance and facilitates the grouping of multiple works. The front is signed cR, and the back contains further information. Securely and immutably archived on Bitcoin, the Ordinal [#122189856] is not for sale. The artwork will be shipped in custom-made packaging.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
