About this artwork
From the ether to the abyss below, initial chaos awakens.
A unique collection of the originality of the future.
The supporting core - a solid wooden board - is covered with canvas, with an elastic base glued underneath on both sides.
The back is covered with thin metal and equipped with a well-designed hanging system.
This special hanging system allows for a slightly curved picture panel and its secure, arbitrary… orientation.
The slightly concave curvature of the picture panel arises from the force of the connection between the hot, liquid matter and the cold canvas, merging deep into the soft ground. Once everything has solidified brightly, dense, dark mists of deep blue ink permeate the remaining, untreated areas of the canvas. With glowing iron, the high light and the deep darkness are now intimately united and sealed into something unique. The coming present, the oldest future, springs forth into the open.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
