About this artwork
From the ether to the abyss below, initial chaos awakens.
Coming present, oldest future, a collection.
The canvas spans a load-bearing wooden board, underneath which an elastic base is glued on both sides.
The back is covered with thin metal and equipped with a special hanging system.
Through the force of the connection between the hot, liquid matter and the cold canvas, and its fusion with the ground, the picture… panel becomes slightly concave. After the relief-like solidification of the matter, dense, dark mists of deep blue ink permeate the remaining, untreated areas of the canvas. With fire and glowing iron, everything is finally sealed together. An enigmatic atmosphere arises, which essentially pervades all the works in this series.
This fundamental mood seamlessly connects all the works in this series, almost effortlessly. The integrated hanging system allows for unlimited use of large wall surfaces and rooms.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
