About this artwork
Black ink polished onto aluminum.
The horizontal panel of a possible dyptichon, but also looks very good singular, around the corner, or at a great distance in the same room.
The internal, load-bearing basic structure is completely coated with pure, corrosion-resistant aluminum and weighs 6 kg and is prepared for hanging. Due to the natural oxide layer of the aluminum, the shine of the bare structures and contours is permanently… retained and they take on the color mood of the respective surroundings.
The wall sculpture is signed on the front and on the back with the initials cR and also dated on the back.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
