The dark angel appeared one day in my mind, and that's how my works were born. He knocked and asked to be made tangible. I had within me the blue of an ocean in the middle of which a rock rose. Gradually, he took on the winged form of a dark angel who dragged me not toward departure but toward rebirth. As I painted him, I felt a lightness and gratitude within me, and in the end, moist crystals of serenity… fell upon my cheeks and joy in my heart. Even now, when I look at him, I see life.
