About this artwork
"She doesn't give explanations. It's taken her a long time, but she's already established herself on a vantage point of self-confidence."
In this work, I played with enamel to create a strong visual contrast, highlighting the intense whites and deep blacks. I seek to capture duality and emotional intensity through figurative and semi-abstract forms. It is an expression of strength and mystery, inviting the viewer to interpret and connect with it… on a personal level.
David Davaro, a painter specializing in inks, charcoal, and enamel, discovered art at a young age through the Japanese painter Tokio Ujike. His work, characterized by minimalism and figures in black, employs a balanced and sophisticated technique that explores the uncontrollable nature of his materials. Through his art, he immerses us in emotions linked to philosophical themes, feminine sensuality, mythology, and wildlife.
