Self-portrait of the painter ...
Delphine Dessein enveloped herself in golden light forming a kind of protection with the outside world.
The background is composed of two colors, on one side the mauve (the dark part) and on the other the gold (the part of light) of the artist. She wanted to express this double facet that animates each of us.
Painting done with a knife and brush for a relief effect. The body is composed of fluorescent thus expressing… the vitality and energy sometimes contained in the artist.
The fluorescent keys in the background are a message of hope and life !!

We rejoice that the heart still animates us
And even with the tears that we wipe away
There are beautiful stories that end
And others of the rotten ones that go on
I hear people tell me it's normal
To be so lost in your situation
