In my work, I explore the connection between biological structures and cosmic forms. The shapes that emerge from the center are meant to evoke cell division, energy flows, and organic growth. I use a dynamic yet controlled color distribution to reference the symmetrical irregularities found in nature, like the fields around atoms or stars. Under UV light, I reveal details that show how our perception of the world can change with different light spectra.…
My works are designed to offer three different effects. In daylight they reveal one appearance, under UV light they shift into another dimension, and in complete darkness they glow, creating a third effect. This triple experience brings a dynamic and multi-layered depth to the piece
My artistic journey began in the kitchen. While working as a sous chef in Oxford’s rosette-awarded restaurants, I discovered the meditative beauty of handcrafting and the transformation of raw materials. When the pandemic closed the restaurants, I turned fully toward art and found a way to reflect myself and my visions through creation.
Philosophy has always been close to me, and it deeply influences my practice. In my works, I explore themes such as the universe, existence, femininity, and the contrasts of nature. I use materials like acrylics, spray paint, pastels, wool, wood, and glow-in-the-dark pigments to create multi-layered compositions. With glow-in-the-dark paints, I invite viewers into three experiences of the same artwork: in daylight, under UV light, and in complete darkness.
