제 예술 여정은 주방에서 시작되었습니다. 옥스퍼드의 로제트상을 수상한 레스토랑에서 수셰프로 일하면서 수공예의 명상적인 아름다움과 원자재의 변화를 경험했습니다. 팬데믹으로 레스토랑들이 문을 닫았을 때, 저는 온전히 예술에 집중했고 창작을 통해 저 자신과 제 비전을 표현하는 방법을 찾았습니다.
철학은 항상 제 가까이에 있었고, 제 작업에도 깊은 영향을 미쳤습니다. 저는 우주, 존재, 여성성, 그리고 자연의 대조와 같은 주제를 작품에서 탐구합니다. 아크릴, 스프레이 페인트, 파스텔, 양모, 나무, 그리고 야광 안료와 같은 재료를 사용하여 다층적인 구성을 만들어냅니다. 야광 안료를 사용하여 관람객을 같은 작품을 세 가지 경험으로 초대합니다. 낮, 자외선, 그리고 완전한 어둠 속에서 말입니다.
