About this artwork
Solar Bloom portrays a cosmic structure taking shape in a botanical form. The organic movement within the piece reflects universal energy manifesting itself in a terrestrial expression. Every detail that appears plant-like echoes the continuous flow of the cosmic cycle and the inner vitality of life. This work aims to convey the transformative nature of matter and energy as they shift into one another.

My artistic journey began in the kitchen. While working as a sous chef in Oxford’s rosette-awarded restaurants, I discovered the meditative beauty of handcrafting and the transformation of raw materials. When the pandemic closed the restaurants, I turned fully toward art and found a way to reflect myself and my visions through creation.
Philosophy has always been close to me, and it deeply influences my practice. In my works, I explore themes such as the universe, existence, femininity, and the contrasts of nature. I use materials like acrylics, spray paint, pastels, wool, wood, and glow-in-the-dark pigments to create multi-layered compositions. With glow-in-the-dark paints, I invite viewers into three experiences of the same artwork: in daylight, under UV light, and in complete darkness.
