About this artwork
This work started from wanting to paint a big painting with a small brush. I like to play around with my brush thinking about opposing things like small and big, bright and dark, furry and smooth. I enjoy just the paint, the brush and all the tactile stuff going on when I paint. In the end it looked like a flying carpet, which became the title of the work.
