About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to explore the tension between reality and dreams through oil, creating a scene that oscillates between the metaphysical and the surreal. The brightly colored sky contrasts with the solid geometric shapes, evoking a feeling of mystery and uneasiness. Each element is a symbol that invites the observer to reflect on his own perception of reality.
"Everyone has a very intimate map of the world, painting is the means to share it with everyone"
Enrico Clemente, self-taught, uses classic techniques such as drawing and oil on canvas, rooted in his love of drawing. He explores post-impressionist and metaphysical landscapes but also loves to paint still lifes, using vibrant colors and bold shapes. His works convey a deep sense of passion and pleasure, seeking to share his intimate map of the world through painting.
