About this artwork
The work is a metaphysical map emerging from the silver head of a man, symbolizing a reflective and alchemical mind. Through three concentric circles, I attempted to trace a path of spiritual elevation from the chaos of matter to mathematical perfection.
The three stages of the journey:
The Outside (Matter and Conflict): A ring of recycled objects and toy soldiers set in silver. It represents the superficial consciousness, tied to consumption,… human history, and daily conflict.
The Intermediate (The Cosmos): A chromatic transition toward a starry midnight blue. It is the expansion of awareness toward infinity, where the noise of the world subsides in the silence of the universe.
The Center (The Essence and the Number): At the heart of the painting, a man in a boat with his oars stowed floats in absolute stillness. Next to him, the number 1.618 033 98 (the Golden Section) reveals that true knowledge coincides with divine harmony and the geometric laws of creation.
