For me, the soul is the most authentic and profound part of my being: it connects me to emotions, intuition, sensitivity, and creativity. It's where I hold my purest joys but also my deepest wounds, and it's from there that my ability to feel and connect arises.
The animus, on the other hand, represents my inner strength: it is my rationality, determination, and ability to act. It is what guides my choices and allows me to give concrete form to… what I feel.
In this dialogue, the body becomes a bridge, and these two energies meet, express themselves, and recognize each other. The embrace, in particular, is a symbolic and powerful gesture for me: it's the moment when inside and outside meet, when vulnerability and strength coexist in the same space.
Federica Luciani is a visual artist who works with photography and digital photo editing. Her research stems from the belief that art can restore meaning and beauty, especially in times of difficulty. Her evocative and layered images are conceived as spaces in which to rediscover strength, resilience, and belonging. The connection with nature is central to his work, influenced by an experience of growing up in close contact with it. His works emerge from a slow and sometimes intuitive process where combinations of photographs taken over time or reworked take shape even after months or years. She graduated in Photography and Video from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and is specializing in Art Therapy. She has participated in group exhibitions and received national and international recognition.
