Frédéric Choisel is an experienced painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Belgium. He describes his artistic motivation as being based on the need to communicate and create emotion for the viewer. Navigating freely between the figurative, abstraction, and representation, Choisel believes that, "art might be the last rampart, our last access to liberty".
