François Rochet is a painter, trained at the Terre et Feux workshops in Paris, who favors watercolor and acrylic, and whose career has been marked by a renewed artistic practice in retirement. He draws inspiration from Impressionism, Fauvism, Pointillism, and the Nabis, reinterpreting works by masters and personal photographs through powerful backgrounds, layered brushstrokes, and rich color blends. His art conveys the gentleness, light, and emotion of suspended atmospheres, inviting contemplation and awakening the senses to the beauty of the world.
