About this artwork
This piece is part of a new series of collages I am doing this year. It is comprised of scraps of my works on paper, along with other ephemera, that I compose and adhere onto a bottom sheet of paper. Once that is done I continue to paint over the top. It is an active, kinetic way of working that allows me to work intuitively and with a lot of freedom. This piece evokes a dreamscape at twilight.
