About this artwork
"In the dark night, high silence makes the white moon" (T. Tasso)
New chapter of the series of "Vesuvian Geometries" this painting highlights all the themes dear to the Neapolitan artist: from the rigor of the linearity of the geometric landscape to the white mystery of the cone of light, from the perfect circularity of the moon to the soft and imperfect blue shades of sky and sea.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and archiving, the… "Cromoesplosioni" catalog on which it is published will also be sent to the purchaser of the painting.

« If you look long into the dark, there is always something. -W.B.Yeats »
Gianluca De Leo is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Naples and the love and hate relationship that many of its inhabitants have with the city is one of the recurring themes in his art. De Leo's compositions combine geometrization and the abstract, depicting precise "non-places", which he describes as being very different from how it is represented and portrayed by media hype. His minimalist compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
