About this artwork
What remains is not always clear. Sometimes it is an impression, a color that resurfaces, a shape that recomposes itself only in memory.
In this work I let the gesture guide the matter. The shades of yellow, suspended between light and earth, emerge from deep layers, like fragments of something that still wants to be seen. The painting is built by subtraction and accumulation, between transparencies and scratches.
I use acrylic, enamel and resin… on canvas to create surfaces that seem to breathe, where each sign tells an interior passage. I do not seek answers, but questions that remain suspended.
It is an investigation into time and what passes through us. An abstract form of storytelling, which does not describe but evokes.
A space open to listening, where every gaze can find its own meaning.
