About this artwork
One Cardinal is vibrant abstract composition collage built from hundreds of layered, semi-transparent squares and rectangles. The overlapping translucent squares create depth and movement. Because some shapes partially reveal others beneath them, the surface has a layered, almost stained-glass quality. The geometry is rigid (all squares and rectangles), yet the color transitions feel organic—suggesting an autumn tree canopy or even a blooming landscape…
