About this artwork
In this painting I take up the mythology surrounding pirate treasures. The rushing ocean in different shades of blue. The white sea spray and shades of gold in between, the sunken treasure. The stormy sea is represented by textures. However, I didn't work with plaster or modeling clay, but rather created the effect using my special pouring technique. The picture within the picture, if you look closely, is a human face, the pirate captain
