About this artwork

Sometimes love blinds us, making us see not reality, but only what we want to see. We idealize, do not notice the flaws, do not hear the warnings. We stand in front of a closed door, sure that behind it is happiness, although in fact we do not know what awaits us.
The woman in front of the door does not see, but she feels. Her eyes are hidden, for she is not looking for proof, she is not doubting - she just goes forward, following the voice of her… heart. Flowers blossom in her hair - a symbol of sincerity and purity of feelings. Butterflies around - reflecting the inner trepidation that arises before the unknown, anticipating love.
The walls around are cracked, crumbled, but she does not notice it - like a person in love who does not want to see the reality around him. The girl fell in love so hard that she went blind.
Sick of love.
Blind love is when the heart leads and the mind remains in the shadows. It's a moment when feelings are stronger than reality.
