Alejandro and Jorge Urioste develop their artistic practice from different but complementary trajectories, united by a creative sensitivity rooted in family. Alejandro is a self-taught artist whose training has been primarily empirical, guided by practice and personal exploration. For him, art was always a natural vocation that developed over time. Jorge has a background in architecture, which has profoundly influenced his understanding of space, form, and composition. His artistic development was also shaped by Roberto Valcárcel's courses, as well as his participation in group exhibitions of contemporary art and in Fotoencuentro La Paz Bolivia in 2003, where he received special mentions. His work is also linked to the applied arts, where he materializes ideas in pieces made of materials such as MDF and metal.
