Monkey man is from the “human animals” series. It eludes apodictic interpretation and acts as a projection surface for the… viewer. Just as all the other works only come to life in resonance with the viewer. “The work is only the source of inspiration for interpretations, the stories arise in people's minds” J.H.
Unique piece / figure approx. 150 - 300 cm high / spruce and acrylic paint / or optionally bronze / wood sculptural work with a chainsaw

Jörg Herz is a Munich-based artist who discovered his passion in painting and sculpture. He uses spruce wood as a creative material, which he then chainsaws to create whimsical and idiosyncratic sculptures. His works often humorously sketch everyday human life. With his powerful, often neon-colored sculptures and paintings, Herz speaks directly to the viewer and encourages their own interpretations.
