About this artwork
Acrylic on Papier, 30×40cm
“Lifestyle” captures the layered rhythms of contemporary living through a vibrant interplay of color, texture, and geometric fragments.
Collaged grids and painted gestures reflect the ongoing negotiation between structure and spontaneity that shapes our daily experience.
The work invites viewers to sense the movement and energy embedded within these overlapping moments.
I am an abstract painter based in Berlin, working with layers of washi tape, torn edges, and quiet color fields. My practice explores the space between silence and expression — a place where inner emotion and outer reality begin to resonate. Through layered surfaces and subtle shifts of texture, I create compositions that feel like vibrations held in stillness. Each work carries a quiet energy, inviting the viewer into a moment of pause — a lightness in the chest that cannot be fully explained. My approach is rooted in years of working with paper, collage, and the physical act of layering. Before moving to Berlin, I was the first Japanese resident artist at Kunsthaus Tacheles, an experience that shaped my understanding of art as dialogue and shared space. Every painting is an attempt to create such a space — a place where something unnamed can be felt.
