About this artwork
In this work, I focus on the gaze as a bearer of inner truth. The face appears fragmented, almost dissolved, yet remains present. Contrasts, overlays, and traces of the painting process are deliberately visible—they represent inner fractures, strength, and vulnerability simultaneously. The portrait is less a depiction of a person than an expression of a state between clarity and dissolution.
