About this artwork
In creating this work, I wanted to explore the depths of an intense and symbolic blue, evoking a spiritual and mysterious presence. This figure represents wisdom and tranquility, capturing the gaze of the observer with its penetrating eyes. It is an invitation to reflect on the inner depth and mystery of existence, bringing peace and contemplation to any environment.
Katia Cona Vitello, an eclectic artist trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, expresses her work through painting, sculpture, and music. She uses evolving styles and mixed or acrylic techniques, often with gold leaf inserts. She observes the essence of human emotions with a spiritual gaze, depicting still women's faces that evoke a sacred and conceptual elsewhere. Her works reveal the inner need for artistic creation, as Kandinsky cited.
