About this artwork
All wedding days start bright and uplifted. The newlyweds giggly combined confidence in their love being able to conquer all challenges is fresh and admirable to witness. The buffets are great as well. But, the universe is always listening and will not let any poser pass. It considers a vow a white glove across the cheek. The coming Ka-Booms from menacing storms are already starting to brew and stir.
You want to learn about love, get married. You… want to learn about unconditional love, have children. You want true love in your life, you have to first become someone who is both capable of giving and receiving that true love. And that takes a lifetime of Ka-Booms. This painting is dedicated to all the many weddings I have witnessed, and to all my friends and family that are still riding through their Ka-Booms, still together. Just not so giggly now.
