About this artwork
colorfields 42 - inspired by color field painting, new works in the series will be created in 2024. For me, the lines represent the interaction and communication of colors but also abstract representations of horizon lines, natural shapes and reflections.
In this work, created on paper with acrylic paints, I explore the duality of calm and energy through abstract, geometric shapes. The dark, calmed upper half contrasts with a vibrant band of orange,… symbolizing vitality and hope. Minimalist white and yellow lines run through the image like reflections or rays of light, bridging the gap between stillness and dynamism. This artwork brings a sense of depth and contemplation to any space.
You are buying an original acrylic painting by me on 1.5 mm passepartout cardboard with sanded side edges. The work is provided with a final varnish and signed on the front. Sold unframed. #colorfields #farbfelder
