About this artwork
Tulipmania was a tulip craze in the north in the mid-17th century. Khatis, inspired a lot by nature, wanted to create this small series in his own way. She chose a model in order to geometrize it, but used a creative process specific to her dreams. Khatis uses different techniques. The acrylic, which she paints in the first layer, see several. KHATIS, a member of the Société des Artistes Français, exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris as part of Art Capital 2026. The past year has seen a return to contemporary figurative art, with a preference for botanical subjects. Khatis enjoys working on backgrounds with spray paint and painting the subjects with acrylics. All the graphic elements she incorporates into her canvases are created with brushes and pens. Most of her paintings are finished with glazes of highly pigmented acrylic inks.
