Das Telefon war die erste Technologie, die uns aus großer Entfernung in Echtzeit verband. Wenn es also eine bestehende Zeitmaschine gibt, wäre eine alte Telefonzelle ein schönes Portal … Würdest du hindurch gehen? Ich habe uns in eine Zeit hineingemalt, in der die Menschen ein großes Gespür für Stil hatten und etwas Romantik in der Luft schätzten.
In diesem Gemälde verflechte ich mittels Acrylfarben eine Welt surrealer Expressionisten. Farbenreiche… Blumenmuster hinter einer Szene unerwarteter Interaktionen fangen die Zuschauerfahrung ein. Ein geheimnisvoller Mann, eine telefonierende Frau, spielende Katzen – hier erzähle ich Geschichten über das Geheimnisvolle und Unvorhersehbare im Alltag.
