About this artwork
The canvas is intended as a symbolic visual representation of the relationship to time and the era.
It is realized by the strong contrast of evocation of the past, via the work in several layers of paint worked in slightly iridescent bronze patina, and the present, via the fluorescent yellow strap surrounding the canvas as well as by the total absence of figurative evocation, unlike the ancient classical bronzes.
In this contemporary era, where… the world oscillates and wavers between fascinating technological advances, massive destruction of fundamental rights and the inability to preserve our living space, everything, every day, forces us to seriously question ourselves about the era, better, equal or worse than the previous ones?
The canvas is signed on the back and is presentable as is.
« Every day, I quietly brush away my balances, my sensitivity, my imagination and I dream of touching the other. This is the life that I have chosen and that has chosen me, forever. »
