Work of 2018 restored and modified in 2021. This work is inspired by the generation of "Millennials" (born between 1980 and 1995). In this case it is a representation in a masculine key, because it is the modern man who is in crisis with himself, with his past and therefore with his future. but with his eyes covered by the same stone, as if his certainties were really just an illusion. Millennials are perhaps among the best educated generations of… the last century, yet the economic crisis, terrorism and the global climate of insecurity have made this generation as strong as it is insecure. A living oxymoron. In 2021 the wings were added and the work was deliberately vandalized as a meaning of the fact that despite having wings, a symbol of freedom and, at the same time, they are chained to the earth and to a human degradation that we see every day in the world.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
